The concept of the voter zombie came to me prior to the 2008 election. I found myself agitated that the majority of my friends were following a certain political party without knowing any of the party’s views. They would follow the party because it was what everyone else was doing. This reminded me of the mindless zombies in old horror movies who would move in groups and repeat the same phrase...”Brains...Brains”.
